Maybe it's just what people are exposed to that has some impact on what they find attractive.

Well... it might be like you grew up around busty women, or your ancestors grew up in a society in which busty women were healthier or something, so the desire to prefer busty women passed down... or I could be completely wrong!

isn't it part of the Oedipus complex? Women look for qualities in men similar to their dad, and men look for women with similar qualities to their mom. It's not an incestuous thing it's just something inherent. (if your parents genes were good enough to create you, similar genes are a safe bet?)

Maybe it's something like that... but you kinda make it sound like "Oedipus Complex" is a legitimate medical thing.
