we cannt report a burglary because he had a key to the house to do work and stuff so the police would just tell us he shouldnt have had a key.

In almost completely unrelated and less serious news I'm completely freezing all figure-buying till I get out of the Marines. I will only fulfill my current preorders and that's it. Um... I'm pretty sure you can still have him arrested for theft.
It doesn't matter if you allowed him the means of the crime, what he did was still illegal.

I mean... if the money is definitely missing... and your mother would sooner ask for it than take it, and the doors were locked, and there's no sign of forced entry, and you didn't take it, then he's the most likely suspect, and you should notify the police.

my aunt told him to file a police report but he doesnt wanna hear about it anymore he just wants to drop it and never see or speak to him again.

you should have heard the way my mom's friend was going off, she says he started screaming at her, talking over her and not letting her get a word in, and then when she finally did he was like 'im at work, dont call me or leave a message.' and then he hung up on her

And I agree with your aunt... and it's especially good for your brother because a good way to make sure you all don't see him again is to have him imprisoned.

ive known this guy since i was 2, i wouldnt expect him to do shit like this.
and ive also had money come up missing, and i used to always accuse my mom of taking it.

also they way he is reacting to it makes him seem more guilty. he talked about calling up 2 neighbors on our street (2 people that he knows my mom hates and they hate her) to vouch for him and basically say how he would never do that.
then he said that she has all different types of people running through the house and she probably stole the money for 'drugs'.
